Ada Barak’s spa in Israel uses snakes “unleashed” on the client’s waiting body until, it is hoped, the client calms down and shows signs of spiritual agreement with Ada’s belief in the soothing power of venomous reptiles rubbing against your soft skin. The only “calming down” I can picture in this situation is of the final, ultimate kind that may take place when one of those snakes realizes you can be their lunch.
