Perfect Microphone For Your Most Shameful Secrets
Filed under: Weird Shit
Do you have a nasty, outlandishly revolting secret you’re just dying to tell somebody, like that one time you were so drunk you thought that 90-year-old lady next door was your wife and made out with her?
The Japanese are at it again to solve it for you with their “Shameful Confessions Microphone” or Mosaic Show, where very shy but pretty “evil” people brave the camera to tell the world how sorry they are for small misdemeanors like having sex with ten hookers using their company’s expense account or humping their computer monitor each time their Oprah Winfrey screensaver runs.
On Tokyo Mango:
Since people don’t like to express emotion in Japan, especially when they’re making a shameful confession like this one, the TV station gives them the option of having their voice changed and their eyes censored out with what is called a “mozaiku” (Japanized version of the word “mosaic”). So here’s a party toy that will do all that for you. The Mosaic Show places a clear bar across your eyes and the internal digital voice changer makes your voice unrecognizable. It even has 4 different censorship noises (”peep!” “piyopiyo” “bakyuuun” and “ahaaan”) for sound effects and profanity.
