“Attack” Of The Newfoundland “Killer Slushies”
Filed under: Environment: news, concepts, novel management, over-the-top ideas, Weird Shit
Presumably recorded somewhere in Miles Cove, Newfoundland, Canada, this video shows ice or snow creeping inland from the frozen ocean. Technically, what unexciting people say is that it’s just an ice shove, a surge of ice from the ocean onto the shore that can sometimes pile up as high as 40 feet. We’ve seen some photos of this (such as here and here), but nothing can dramatically deliver its awesome weirdness (at least for those who live in regions without ice) than seeing an ice shove in action.
