The South China Mall in Dongguan, China — a 7-million-square-foot retail-and-entertainment monstrosity, is among China’s new arsenal of superlatives. But not without a good soaking up of irony.
With space for 1500 stores, it only houses about a dozen — and it’s a surprise if you’d find a store with an actual person manning it.
Epic fail.
