SanDisk’s MP3 Player Beats the Shit out of iPod

SanDisk has just unveiled what is now considered as the world’s highest-capacity flash memory-based MP3 player. With 8 to 10 GB of pure, orgasmic listening pleasure, it comes much more affordable, and has greater capacity than iPod.

“SanDisk is once again making it incredibly affordable for consumers to purchase the most feature-rich, high-capacity players on the market at the best possible price,” said Eric Bone, director of audio/video product marketing at SanDisk.

“The most costly ingredient in a flash-based MP3 player is the flash memory. Since we make the flash memory, we essentially remove the middleman and pass that savings directly to the consumer.”

Sansa e280 features included being able to download digitized entertainment from an array of sources including Microsoft PlaysForSure and Rhapsody To Go, according to the company.

Sansa e280 also has an FM radio tuner and could be used as a voice or radio recorder, the company said.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t buy Apple’s iPods anymore; I’m going on the record here to tell you that you must still get Steve’s gadgets by the large handful, lest some poor Chinese kid from Longhua loses the only source of her dumpling money. I’d still want to be able to sleep at night, you know.
