Leif Erikson Statue Is Effing Stubborn

A 17-foot-tall Viking statue along the shores of Seattle is standing his ground. Workers drilled, pounded, and pulled for 8 hours but the statue just wouldn’t budge. The workers were supposed to transfer the another plaza in time for a celebration. The celebration pushed through the next day but the old Viking Leif Erikson snubbed the event.
