At least 30 new animals, including this pictured psychedelic octopus, have been found in the waters off Antarctica. The find has been so “excitingly colorful” that the scientific expedition’s members, realizing that their lunch of canned stuff wasn’t as colorful, called up their mamas and blamed them for their sheltered, geeky lives. They now won’t leave the holes they’ve drilled in the ice, holding a spear and hoping for more of that “psychedelic stuff.”
