Henrik Clausen and his team of blood-loving researchers have discovered enzymes that can convert blood groups — A, B, and AB — into group O, which is a universal blood group that is usually in short supply. Exhaustive clinical trials are underway to make sure blood transfusions involving such converted blood are safe and to reassure the world’s blood-sucking demographic on an exclusive type-O blood diet that there’s lots more of that kind of blood where it came from.
