Aside from scratching our ears over China Daily’s naughty mistake of attributing this Filipino-made solar-powered car to Indonesians, what really gets our attention is the huge pussy-magnet potential of this thing. Called Sinag (which means “lightray”), the solar-powered car was built by students and faculty members from De La Salle University in the Philippines and supervised by Rene Fernandez. Sinag will be an entry to the World Solar Challenge in Australia in October 2007.
