Courtney Love hates this Dr Martens ad featuring his late husband and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. We don’t fully understand Love’s irritation — we seem to remember Kurt wearing similar-looking shoes at many a cross-dressing concert. If Love would again say “It’s not about the money” — the same loveable line she’s serving whenever asked about the impending auction of many of Kurt’s old stuff — maybe we’d buy it hook, line and sinker, and give her a sincere little hug until some of her delicate, cocaine-fed little bones pop faintly in a wonderful singsong.
