The Elica lamp is created by a stroke of genius — you can only turn it on by blowing on its little propellers. Which simply means you run out of breath, the light goes out. While there’s probably some literary elegance in that last line, the effort this lamp requires you to keep it lighted has not. But don’t worry; place it right in the breathing path of the finest bullshitters you know and you won’t stumble in the dark ever again.
