If there are two dozens of people in your super-extended family, you may want to consider getting one of these pedal-powered Christmas lights (which, in today’s painstakingly copied-and-pasted article, can be seen as the centerpiece of this billboard in Canada). The billboard above was powered by volunteers for five days using only pedal power. Five days took shifts of 120 volunteers working round the clock. As I’ve said, if you have a large family, you can make them all galley, err, pedal slaves to power things, and how nice it would be if you could begin with some length of Christmas lights.
