Message In A Bottle
Six-year-old Keely Reid threw a message in a bottle out to sea off Scotland’s coast. The bottle was picked up by another six-year-old James Wilson on the other side of the world, in New Zealand, 47 days later.
Everybody was happy, except for some scientists who were befuddled about the speed the bottle reached New Zealand, and also some of us here, as we’re left wondering if said message in a bottle somehow contained another copy of the now-famous Arnold Schwarzenneger photo, on the back of which were scribbled the innocent lines, “To the grownup who finds this. Please send back a letter to me explaining why oh why his finger is missing.”
On an entirely unrelated note, we’re willing to bet North Korea’s strongman, after reading this piece of news, is now staring at his stacked nukes and mentally calculating the probability of his own newly conceived nuke-in-a-bottle ever reaching the shores of his beloved target.
