Japan Takes Bubble Wrap To Another Level
For some reason, what we in less-advanced civilizations know as “bubble wrap” is called “air cap” in Japan. And instead of merely living in serene bubblewrap-popping contentment, the Japanese have taken it upon themselves to give the humble “aircap” some more ooomph and dignity by actually wearing it. Seen here in a recent fashion show is one of the nameless, lucky ramp models chosen via an evil, twisted lotto system that picked out “volunteers” based on how efficiently they could recite the word, “Glibtechnifagenarkle barkle.”
Yeah, I know, the idea is to make some nice-looking schoolgirl put it on and make popping bubble wrap much more fun for everybody else while cruising the streets of Tokyo. Just don’t bother thinking what happens after everything has been popped flat, as I’m sure it only gets better from there.
