Christopher Conte’s Quirky Microrobots

Christopher Conte's steam-powered insect

Christopher Conte, artist and prosthetic engineer based in New York, crafts these miniature robots that are actually sculptures fashioned from watch parts, gears, and other discarded components. The “Steam-powered Insect” featured here seems to be the latest addition to his oeuvre, if the very helpful words “just added” in his portfolio page are any indication.
And just to remind you, he’s actually selling them.
