Boy king Tutankhamun’s face has just been made available for viewing for the first time. We’re not talking about the golden, shiny sarcophagus; we’re talking 3,000-year-old mummified flesh, complete with previously unknown details like King Tutankhamun’s buck teeth. The National Geographic has covered every little detail of this thing, including photos and a video of transfer of the mummy to a high-tech glass display case, and an exhaustive explanation of the technology used to preserve this very fragile artifact.
