Cate Blanchett admitted recently to owning “daggy undies”–those homemade things her mother made her in high school–and wearing them up until six years ago, when she made the Big Switch to store-bought panties.

She said, “I actually thought they were quite sexy.”

I think they’re quite sexy, too, but it’s only because of you, Cate. It would have been the Mt Fuji of Grossness if it were somebody like Courtney Love, Cristy Fermin, German Moreno… Right, names escape me right now.
