When The Village Satanist Becomes The Village Hotshot
Filed under: Sacred Cows
Says 32-year-old Scott Jones, Lucifer is not exactly your regular bad guy. And he has classes, conducted most nights at Somerset, UK’s local village hall, to prove that point.
Surprisingly, the “bold” course on “Satanism” has been attracting the hatred of some residents, while gaining much popularity among a number of middle-aged women.
Since the course began on October 2, placard-waving objectors have protested outside the centre when the classes are being held. Which must be interesting for the people attending the karate class and the textiles course which are run at the same time.
…
Local Councillor Roz Willis pointed out that the sessions could not be cancelled, as the centre is run as a charity, and Charity Commission rules prevent discrimination on religious grounds.
Having dunked my hand in the past in these slimy, stinking things, I think I’m qualified to give this little advise to Scott “Lucifer is nice” Jones: Hire me. I’ll spin up some nice PR work and export your brand of satanism to willing Third World islands that happen to contain an embarrassment of riches and lovely young girls. Think about it.
