Vatican Museums director, Francesco Buranelli told the La Stampa newspaper, “I would like very much to have a Picasso.” He said the Vatican Museums intend to obtain new works “above all in sectors like contemporary art.”
I’m wondering if the Vatican would include Petter Hegre’s works; I hear Pete’s photos come in a pretty amazing level of “artistry” that only something of the Vatican’s stature deserve to own–and at $29.95 a month, it’s cheap, too.
