Toyota recently unveiled a robotic leg that jumps. I envision marvelous uses like sending it to kick the beejesus out of some not-very-nice people.

“The leg is 1 meter tall and can jump up to 4 cm (1.6 inches) in the air.
This marvel of acrobatics is made possible by an active joint in the toe in addition to the regular knee and hip.”

Okay, that leg was nice. Nice is good. But where’s the rest of the goddamn robot, George?
