Robot Mimics Medical Conditions
Filed under: Health, Robots: toys, developments, cool innovations, weird shit

We know what you’re thinking, but no — that fine Japanese doctor in the photo is not actually trying to sodomize some crazy-looking female doll.
The doll or the robot was fabricated by researchers at Gifu University Medical School to train students in diagnosing tricky medical symptoms. Nothing really fancy: the robot simply shows the facial expression, posture and reflexes of somebody with a disease called myasthenia gravis.
We wonder why they had to make a robot for that purpose. Hey, our dog can excellently mimic pain and disease, you only have to kick it.
