Today’s fanciful robot musing involves an 18-meter Gundam robot, and the important question of “How much?” SciencePortal calculated the cost of parts and materials should somebody gets crazy enough to build one using readily-available materials (there’s no Gundanium, of course), and the price tag is reasonably huge: roughly $725 million, about the price of two passenger aircraft. It doesn’t fly, and will tend to destroy the roads it walks on, but it might be good at stomping on enemies.
