“All Your Large Robots Are Belong To Microsoft”

Tmsuk and Microsoft

Microsoft has recently forged an unholy alliance with Tmsuk, one of Japan’s largest humanoid robot makers, as part of the company’s bid to dominate the highly advanced field of robotics. Tmsuk has been known for pushing the cutting-edge in robotics (a great lineup of its robots can be found here) and creator of the T-5 concept — the world’s first giant robot prototype (the image above is the new T-52 “Hyper Rescue Robot.” Yeah, that is huge, and it can squash you like a bug. Thank you, Microsoft. We’re excited to see how badass robots will behave when you give them the wonderful “Blue Screen of Death” feature. We’re sure it’s gonna be much more fun with machine guns.
