Do you have any idea why, in the side-race to create the most realistic humanoid robot, Japanese companies seem hell bent on making them into voluptuous, sexually attractive female machines?
Kokoro, a Sanrio division, doesn’t provide a direct answer but produces another fembot called Actroid DER2.
New Launches gushes on this fembot’s lifelike features:
The Actroid DER2 is a bit thinner and can deliver more expressions, in fact she is so lifelike that you might mistake her for an actual human being. Its limbs, torso and facial expressions are controlled by a system of actuators powered by pneumatic pressure. She can even choreograph her motions and gestures with her voice.
The Actroid remains more or less a high-tech booth prop, but maybe with some of their usual creativity, Japanese men would be able to make her do some naughty things that’ll make the 5-day rental of $3,500 well worth every cent. After all, the exciting possibilities with an Actroid are better than sodomizing a knapsack full of whimpering kittens.
