Monster Women

The most interesting part of this AskMen article is the first paragraph that puts forward this question: Why is it that every romantic comedy ends as soon as the relationship begins?
You remember all those Adam Sandler, Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts films, for example. The moment the couple hit it off, the movie ends. Why?
The simple answer is: What follows can be ugly. Reality is not a good thing to watch. What we don’t see, says AskMen, is “the haggard boy several years later, after he’s been bled dry by his demanding girlfriend and has raised someone else’s kid.”
I’m not really what you can classify as a “bitter, mysogynistic spurned male.” I have a wife and kids, and I’m happy. The reason is I’ve been lucky I didn’t marry one of the “four lady traps” described by AskMen, namely the Jolie, the Bancroft, the Curie, the Zellweger.
Bottomline: look beyond the great breasts, the cute smile, the sweet voice. Date around. And always be ready to shoot out the door when you realize you’re dating one of these four women.
And here’s also a hint to all those “smart women”: you may be sexy, but the fun stops when you psychoanalyze men to death. Take it easy, babe.
