Microsoft Unwraps Zune

On Sept. 14, Microsoft took the wraps off Zune, its darling gadget of the season that somehow still elicits pity whenever people talk about good looks. But hear ye: 3-inch video screen that can be viewed vertically or horizontally, and the ability to wirelessly share songs, playlists, pictures, and maybe girlfriends (if you so choose) with other Zunes floating nearby. In a nicer future, you can even broadcast what you’re playing to other Zunes. As Microsoft loves saying these days, it’s a “social music device.”

No pricing yet, as usual. Maybe it’s free, Microsoft’s just too shy to admit it. If you really got the itch for answers, why not the insider tease you with some more details?
