Do You Want Weather News With That Coffee?

The $199 Melitta ME1MSB Smart Mill & Brew integrates MSN Direct weather data, along with the ability to make coffee from whole or ground beans. I understand it’s normal for people to know the day’s weather in the morning, in the same way they find dead deer on the road they tend to rape it, but I think I’ll pass on this one, unless you’re sending it to me free.

After plugging in, the coffee maker will scan for a signal. The MSN Direct service is available in over 120 cities in both the US and Canada, a complete map is available at MSN Direct’s site (coverage map). The scanning and acquiring of a signal can take up to an hour, though mine locked on in just a few minutes. If you just can’t wait to get a pot of coffee going, you can transition to the coffee making screens by pressing the coffee/weather toggle button.
