The “Jesus Boat” Looks Like A Cool “Miracle”
The Wave Adaptive Modular Vessel (WAM-V) is a new kind of catamaran vessel that looks like those bugs that seem to walk on water. For that same reason, you can call it the “Jesus Boat,” only it would hurt the fragile sensibilities of the moneyed religious folks and nobody would buy it. So let’s stick with the “WAM-V.”
The WAM-V features a revolutionary design that allows it to smoothly negotiate even very rough seas, thanks to well-placed springs, shock absorbers, and ball joints. It uses little fuel, made of lightweight materials such as titanium and aluminum, and it has a range of more than 8000 km.
You may see a video of its Proteus prototype here.
