The Day A Robot Weds A Human Couple

A four-foot-tall robot named I-Fairy wed a Japanese couple in Tokyo. Made by a company called Kokoro Co, presumably in a tongue-in-cheek fashion, the robot had characteristic flashing eyes and a pigtail and said wedding-y things like “Please lift the bride’s veil.” No one mentioned if the guy issuing commands to the robot wasn’t actually giggling throughout the ceremony, but it’s possible.

The I-Fairy is actually for sale at $68,000 each, and the company has so far sold a whopping number of three robots! Well, it might sell more if there’s actually boobs.

Japan’s “Rice Bra”

Triumph, the underwear company, has come up with something that’s usually made by the homeless: a bra made of two recyclable plastic cups. In a superhuman effort to connect agriculture and women’s breasts, Triumph announced that the bra might help Japanese women to extend their current passion for farming by wearing something that Triumph says can actually grow rice.
