Philippine Weather Bureau’s Exceedingly High-tech Way Of Weather Prediction

Now that we’re in the relaxed, leisurely phase of counting the typhoon Reming dead, and because human nature forces us to always, always blame somebody, we happily aim our classic blunderbusses at the heads of the devoted folks at the local weather bureau called PAGASA.

As shown in the photo, one PAGASA official proudly and so pedantically points at a colorful animated satellite imagery of the typhoon’s (also called hurricane Durian) savage path across bodies of water and land masses, never mind that the said satellite imagery actually says “Guam” and not “Philippines” somewhere on its telling page.

Oh heck, as long as they keep on showing these eye candies to impressionable reporters/TV viewers, who’s complaining? But for those who barely survived, you are encouraged to track down this fellow and make him chew that ballpoint pen.
